The racial makeup of the town was 95.72% White, 2.72% Black or African American, and 1.56% from two or more races. 1.17% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

County Line is a town of 261 on just under a square mile of land along the Blount/Jefferson county line. It was incorporated in 1957. Sue Blackmon is the current Mayor.

The population density was 267.4/mi², with housing units at an average density of 122.3/mi². The racial makeup of the town was 94.2% White and 1.2% African American. 0.4% of the population was Hispanic or Latino of any race.
