Craig Harris (born August 16, 1973) was the Mayor of Kimberly, having been appointed to fill the position after newly elected mayor Ralph Lindsey retired in April 2009.
Harris was a newly-elected Kimberly Town Council member when Lindsey announced his retirement due to health concerns. Harris served as Chairman of the Finance Committee as well as Co-Chair of the Planning and Zoning Board. He was the only nomination made to fill the position at a specially called council meeting on April 30. Under Alabama League of Municipalities rules, the town was not allowed to hold a special election for the position. In addition to his role as mayor, he also served on the board of directors for the Jefferson Cullman Gas District, a member of the Jefferson County Technical Advisory Committee as well as a member of the Jefferson County Mayor's Association.
