Woodlawn Christian Church (originally known as 57th Street Christian Church) was located at 125 57th Street North. The brick Gothic-revival auditorium church was constructed around 1925. In 1967 the congregation moved to 5901 Crestwood Boulevard where it adopted the name Crestwood Christian Church.
The church is a contributing property to the Woodlawn Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
Around 2020, the church was purchased by the GraceWorks ministry of Grace Episcopal Church and renovations began to make the building a center for this ministry called GracePlace.
