The Cris Picard residence is a house constructed in 2007 for Anne Davis and Cris Picard on a 100-acre rural site that was once part of the Mount Ida Plantation in Talladega County.
They relocated from Avondale after Davis, an internist in Talladega completed her residency at UAB. Picard, a dentist and furniture builder, designed the house to reflect the "Prairie" and "Usonion" style houses of Frank Lloyd Wright. The L-shaped house features an open living area which extends outdoors onto front and rear terraces and a large fireplace. A bedroom wing helps enclose the rear terrace, which holds a lap pool. A partial basement houses a laundry room, exercise space, and a media room.
A cottage built nearby is used by Anne's parents.
