Eddie Vines

Edward B. "Eddie" Vines is a district court judge at the Bessemer courthouse. He was appointed in 2008 by Governor Bob Riley to succeed the retiring Ralph Coleman, Jr, and narrowly survived the challenge of Democrat Lynniece Washington in the 2010 general election to keep his seat.

Vines is a graduate of Samford University and the Birmingham School of Law. He has practiced as an attorney and served as an assistant circuit clerk, assistant tax collector and deputy probate judge.
