Ezell's Fish Camp is a revered hunting and fishing camp on the Tombigbee River near Lavaca in Choctaw County. It was established at a former ferry station by Charles Ezell Sr and expanded into a popular restaurant by his son, C. A. Ezell in the 1930s.
Charles Ezell III and his brother, Joe Ezell, used the fish camp's recipes and renown to found a chain of Ezell's Catfish Cabin restaurants beginning in the 1970s. Later locations were operated as Ezell's Fish Camp restaurants, or Ezell's Express.
Chip Sanders and his partners opened an Ezell's Fish Camp restaurant at 120 Bishop Circle in Pelham. That restaurant closed in February 2009. Its owners later opened a new Ezell's Catfish Cabin in Trussville.
