Federal Bake Shop was a bake shop and deli operated by Walt and Belinda Marchand at Century Plaza from the mall's opening in 1975 until 1984.

The business was known for it's homemade bread, chocolate chip cookies and hot sandwiches on freshly made rolls. Cake decorating was a big part of this business. On an average Saturday, cake decorating would begin around 3:30 AM and produce a couple hundred special order cakes before noon.
