Painting entitled "The Little Church on the Corner" showing Trinity Methodist Church (Southside)" at Avenue F at 30th Street South c. 1900. Sloss Furnaces can be seen in the background, and the trees on the left are part of a former peach orchard planted by George Worthington.

The unsigned oil painting was a wedding gift given to Reverend Lorenzo Patterson in 1910 and is now owned by his daughter, Mrs Thomas R. Mitchell of Brevard, North Carolina. It was published in Annie Ford Wheeler (1989) Trinity United Methodist Church, 1889-1989. Homewood: Trinity United Methodist Church.
