FoodBlogSouth in an annual food-centric blogging conference.

The first a one-day conference was held at Woodrow Hall in Woodlawn on January 22, 2011. The conference was attended by 125 food bloggers, chefs, photographers and marketing professionals and included multimedia presentations, tastings, and opportunities to network.

The conference was organized by Jason Horn and Shaun Chavis. Revenues from registrations were shared with the Desert Island Supply Company writing program and the Alabama Gulf Coast Environmental Recovery Fund.
