Gilchrist or Gilchrist Drug, formerly Mountain Brook Pharmacy is a sandwich shop and former druggist located at 2805 Cahaba Road in the Mountain Brook Estates building in the center of Mountain Brook Village. It is one of the first tenants to have opened in the 1929 building. It is currently owned by Leon Rosato.
In 2005 the restaurant's fresh-squeezed limeade was listed as one of the "100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama Before You Die" by the Alabama Tourism Department. It is also noted for its egg salad and pimento cheese sandwiches.
