Hallman Hill is the name of Arlington Properties' proposed mixed-use development on the site of the Homewood Gardens Apartments in Homewood. After the first plans were submitted to the city of Homewood, developers reduced the overall size from 236 condominiums and 53,000 square feet of retail space to 177 condominium units, 17 townhouses, and 12,500 square feet of retail. The condominiums have been priced in the range of $200,000 to $400,000.

Tenants at Homewood Gardens were originally asked to leave during the first part of 2006 in expectation of demolition starting on August 1. Arlington has since decided to build the project in phases and has re-opened 76 rental units on the west side of the complex for short-term tenants. Phase I, the eastern portion, will be the Clifton, Carlisle and Shannon buildings, which will house 69 condos and 7,500 square feet of retail space. Demolition of that portion of Homewood Gardens Apartments is expected to begin in spring 2007.
