The Heart of Dixie Quilt Guild, founded in 1988, is a quilting club that meets monthly at Trussville Baptist Church. The group performs community-service projects such as making quilts for critically ill babies at local hospitals and donating pieces to the American Heart Association for auction. The group also sponsors a bi-annual quilt show.
