The Heart of Dixie Quilters Guild, founded in 1988, is a quilting club that meets the second Monday of each month at First Baptist Church of Trussville. The president is Mary Ann Raley.

The guild performs community-service projects such as making quilts for critically ill babies at local hospitals and donating a heart-related quilt to the American Heart Association's Heart Ball auction. The group also sponsors quilt shows, fat quarter swaps, quilting challenges, retreats, workshops, classes and other programs.
