Hoyt Sanders (born c. 1968) is the Mayor of Pinson. Sanders, who grew up in Pinson and graduated from the University of Alabama, has been mayor since the city was incorporated in 2004. Sanders ran unopposed in the special election in 2004, won the general election later that year, and ran unopposed in 2008. He won again in 2012, and defeated Joe Cochran in the 2016 election.
