The Ironman regatta is a multi-class regatta is held in May at the Birmingham Sailing Club on Lake Logan Martin. It is one of the largest multi class events held in the area. As many as 90 boats have competed in the Ironman. It is a two-day event and normally has two to three races on Saturday and one to two races on Sunday morning. Fleets include Snipe, J22, Thistles, Flying Scots, Lasers, Buccaneers, Open Dinghy and Keel Boats.
