J. T. Moore (born c. 1988) is a member of Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham and former staffer for Alabama Possible, the A. G. Gaston Boys and Girls Club, and the Woodlawn Foundation. He is a candidate for Birmingham City Council District 4, in the 2021 Birmingham municipal election.
Moore grew up in Ensley and attended Tuskegee University, the University of West Alabama, and UAB.
As a candidate Moore has pledged to empower citizens and strengthen neighborhood associations through development of community spaces and block watch programs.
