John Norris is Managing Director of Wealth Management at Oakworth Capital Bank and the publisher, since 2001, of the Common Cents e-newsletter for investors.

Before joining the newly-formed Oakworth Bank, Norris was an economist and senior fund manager for Regions Bank's Morgan Keegan asset management group.
