John Rolen is chef de cuisine at Bottega restaurant.

Rolen earned his bachelor's degree in fine arts at UAB and began working at Bottega in 1998. He was promoted to chef de cuisine in 2000. He left the restaurant in 2013 to work as chef for Whole Foods' Mountain Brook supermarket. He returned to the restaurant in 2016 after the departure of Paul Yeck.
