Established in 1995, when commercial interest in the Internet first arose, Kinetic focused on providing consulting and development services to early corporate adopters of digital marketing and multimedia.

The founder of the company, Jay Brandrup, headquartered Kinetic in Birmingham, Alabama, establishing it as the first studio of its kind within the state and the surrounding areas. Jay's healthy respect for incorporating "fun" attitudes and atmosphere into the business has allowed the company to grow and succeed.

Kinetic also established itself as one of the first groups to offer the in-house development and integration of three electronic media: Internet applications, broadcast video production, and interactive programming.

Kinetic has helped major corporations with interactive projects, from Alabama Power to Southern Progress. From our complementary desire to contribute to the greater Birmingham community, Kinetic maintains the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitor's Bureau website promoting travel to Birmingham. We also assist the SEC with bringing outstanding athletes within fans' reach at FanFare.

Our nonprofit community projects include development of the websites of the Alabama Ballet, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, and the Vulcan Park Foundation, among others. If you'd like to learn more about these, and other, Kinetic projects, check out our section on "the work."
