Encompass Health Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital is an inpatient rehabilitation center located at 3800 Ridgeway Drive in Homewood. It was founded in 1973 as an outgrowth of the former Jefferson Tuberculosis Sanatorium and was initially operated by Baptist Health System.

It was later operated independently by the Lakeshore Foundation before being acquired by HealthSouth. It currently operates as part of the Encompass Health hospital network and is led by CEO Michael Bartell.
