Liberty Day is an annual celebration held in Columbiana the last Saturday in June. It is a 4th of July celebration that was originally begun to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. The event features a parade, music, and fireworks as well as other events that vary from year to year. In 2017, the event will also feature a Heart Walk, Hot Dog Eating Contest, Most Patriotic Dog Costume Contest, and a Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show.
