Lipstick was a freely-distributed monthly magazine produced by the business development division of the Birmingham News and edited by Tina Hatch. The magazine, aimed at women aged 30-50 launched in November 2007 with copies available at specialty stores, boutiques, salons and other locations in Jefferson and Shelby counties.

The News closed down the publication in early 2009. The magazine's final March issue was distributed in February of that year. Managing editor Laurel Mills won two Green Eyeshade awards from the Society of Professional Journalists for features she wrote that had been published in 2008.
