Louis Hill

Louis Hill is a renowned Birmingham potter, teacher and accomplished photographer. Hill is a graduate of University of Montevallo. He is also a former gallerist who owned and operated Studio 2030 in Five Points South.

Hill was selected to be in the exhibition "Contour: The Definitive Line" curated by Jon Coffelt. He was accompanied by Sara Garden Armstrong, Steve Baris, Luis Carle, Travis Childers, Clayton Colvin, Jacob Hill Grad, Lee Isaacs, Antjuan Oden, Amy Pleasant, Eric Rhein, Jessica Rosner, Virginia Scruggs, Joel Seah, Yuko Shimizu, Sean Slemon, and J. M. Walker. The exhibition consisted of drawings, paintings, collages, installations and photographs and took place in what is was Schedler/Minchin Fine Arts and now Amanda Schedler Fine Arts in Homewood.
