Marjorie "Margie" Orr Carter (born c. 1924 - died November 17, 2009) was an elementary school teacher and former Miss Alabama.

Orr graduated from Howard College and sang soprano. She was named a co-winner, with Martha Ann Ingram, of the 1948 Miss Alabama pageant. She and her husband, Henry Carter raised four children, after which she returned to teaching.

Throughout her life, Carter sang with the choir of First Baptist Church of Alabaster. She also enjoyed painting. Carter died in 2009 after a long stay at Shelby Ridge Nursing Home. She was survived by her children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
