'''Matt Murphy''' (born [[September 1]], [[1973]] in Thomaston, Georgia) is a radio talk show host.

Murphy began his radio career in Montgomery in [[1999]]. His show debuted on [[WYDE-FM]] in [[2002]] and moved to [[WAPI-AM]] on [[December 26]], [[2007]], eventually taking the 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM slot with co-host [[Valerie Vining]]. WAPI's content began simulcasting on [[WZRR-FM]], "[[Talk 99.5]]" in May [[2016]].

Murphy left Birmingham in December [[2021]] in order to fill the afternoon slot at WWTN-FM in Nashville, Tennessee left after former host Phil Valentine died from [[COVID-19 pandemic|COVID-19]].

Murphy is married to the former [[Erica Murphy|Erica Ray]].
