Moist is the alias of a graffiti artist active in the Birmingham area since about 2009.
He chose his alias on a lark during a rain shower in Highland Park and carved it into a concrete step with a rock. He enjoys the sharp reactions some people have to the word, in part because it makes his graffiti more memorable. Unlike some taggers who only employ intricately-obscured letter forms, Moist often uses block letters for legibility.
Moist has been associated with other Birmingham graffiti artists, including Aruhi, Blaes, Roke and Daze.
