The Over The Mountain Democrats are a political organization founded in January 2005 in the wake of the 2004 presidential election. Flourishing amidst the overwhelmingly Republican-leaning Over the Mountain suburbs, the group enlisted its 500th member in September 2006.

In addition to political activism the group sponsors informational and social meetings for its members and the community at large. The group's co-chairs are Bob Parker and Tony Parker.
