1941 advertisement for Pineview Beach

Pineview Beach was an 85-acre picnic ground and recreation center operated by R. L. Zeigler off U. S. Highway 11 near McAlla.

The park offered week-end cabin rentals with meals prepared in an on-site restaurant. Swimming, boating and fishing were offered in a freshwater lake. Bowling, tennis and baseball facilities were also available. No admission was charged for the park, only for group rental of picnicking, barbecue and other facilities.
