Pineywood Baptist Church is a Baptist congregation located at 498 Pineywood Road in Gardendale. The church was established in 1938 and celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2013. The current sanctuary and educational buildings were constructed in 1960. It is a member of the North Jefferson Baptist Association.

Former pastor Fred Chapman passed away on June 3, 2020 and Tony Cooper, former director of the Jimmie Hale Mission, was asked to be the Interim Pastor. Cooper subsequently became the lead pastor in November of 2020.
