Pinnacle at Tutwiler Farm

The Colonial Pinnacle at Tutwiler Farm is a 75 acre, 446,000 square-foot, $100 million shopping center in Trussville which opened on October 11, 2006. The center was developed by Colonial Properties Trust on land previously distinguished by a rocky hillside. Nearby is the Promenade at Tutwiler Farm, also developed by Colonial.

Anchor tenants include Parisian, Belk and JC Penney (the latter two are relocating existing stores at Century Plaza. Other tenants include Best Buy, Ann Taylor Loft, Chico's, Buckle, American Eagle Outfitters, Jos. A. Banks, Children's Place, Justice for Girls, Portrait Innovations, Learning Express, New Balance, Kay Jewelers, and New York & Co. Local retailers who have signed leases are A Rabbit's Tale, Bama Fever/Tiger Pride, and Accessory Heaven. Outparcel restaurants include Logan's Roadhouse and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers.

The two-story Parisian store at Tutwiler Farm was planned as a new prototype for the retailer, which was purchased by Belk, Inc. in 2006. While the eventual outcome for the Parisian store is unknown, Belk has indicated that they plan to convert all Parisian stores to their own name. For the immediate future, Belk is obligated to operate both of their two anchor department stores at the shopping center.

A Courtyard by Marriott hotel is under construction at the center.
