The '''Rehobeth Baptist Church of Lawley''' is a Southern Baptist church founded in [[1819]] in the community of [[Lawley]] in [[Bibb County]]. The pastor is [[Duane Schliep]].

Until the church was destroyed by arson on [[February 3]], [[2006]], the congregation met in a wood-frame building constructed in [[1912]]. Rehobeth and eight other churches in Bibb, Pickens, Greene and Sumter Counties were damaged by a string of fires set by teenagers [[Matthew Cloyd]], [[Russell DeBusk]] and [[Ben Moseley]].

A new $540,000 church building is under construction, funded by donations in addition to insurance coverage. The new 50 by 65-foot T-shaped sanctuary will be adjoined by an office and classrooms and will have a full basement. Lovelady Construction of Slema is doing the work.
