Roy L. Wood, Jr (born June 14, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois) is a former television news anchor, a public relations manager, and the Democratic candidate for Jefferson County Commission District 4 in the 2010 general election.

Wood, son of editorialist and radio news anchor Roy Wood, Sr, and the much older half-brother of comedian Roy Wood, Jr. He grew up in Chicago and earned his bachelor's in mass communications at Southern Illinois University. He worked for ABC and NBC stations in Detroit, Chicago, New York and Boston before coming to WVTM-TV as an anchor and reporter in the mid 1980s.
