SOURCE

Save Our Unique River, Communities and Environment (SOURCE) is a group organized in opposition to the Northern Beltline highway project planned in Northern Jefferson County. The group cites numerous adverse impacts to ecosystems and communities along the planned route. It believes that the proposed interstate would be a costly and unnecessary taxpayer-funded project whose primary beneficiaries would be large corporations who own most of the undeveloped land traversed by the new corridor.

The president of SOURCE is Pat Feemster, a resident of Clay.
