Shades Valley Technical Academies (SVTA) is a career academy program of Shades Valley High School located at the Jack C. Dabbs campus off Pine Whispers Drive in Irondale.
The Jefferson County Pre-Engineering Academy, Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps, Shades Valley School of Automotive Technology and Collision Repair Academy and the Jefferson County School of Visual Art are located here.
