The Sons of Vulcan is a blacksmithing and metal arts co-operative and educational nonprofit located at 10 55th Street South in Woodlawn. It was founded in 2014 by Lee McKee, Jake Bowden, Joshua Spellman, Jojo Harris, Rodney Eslinger, Jam Coshatt and Rachael Freeze.

The group formerly held public events at the Painted Shovel in Avondale. The co-op moved from Southside into their current space, a former foundry that manufactured hand grenades for World War II, in December 2016.

Members have access to space and equipment for blacksmithing and metal casting, as well as instructional time with local and visiting experts, and education on the history of metalworking in the Birmingham District.
