Summit is an unincorporated community in Blount County, Alabama, United States. Summit is located along Blount County Road 48 near U.S. Highway 231, 10 miles northeast of Blountsville.

The community's volunteer fire department was organized in 1980.

Summit is the setting for O. Henry's 1907 short story, "The Ransom of Red Chief."
