****As far as I know, the clown never had a name. I do recall that in TV commercials circa 1972, a live actor dressed like the clown, but no one I've ever spoken to knows who that was... or even remembers that there were such commercials! --[[User:Tim Hollis]] 22 March 2011 via Facebook

Golden Flake Clown

Does anyone know the name of the clown featured on many older Golden Flake adverts and now usually the back of every bag?
