I know one of the two major newspapers did a story on Lion & Unicorn and Allen Hammack when the store first opened.  If someone finds it, I'd be grateful to get a copy.  Also, I found mention of a Lion & Unicorn location at 7001 Crestwood Blvd., but I know nothing about that one.  From the Usenet message, it's possible there were other locations I was never aware of. --[[User:Lkseitz|Lkseitz]] 23:08, 13 July 2006 (PDT)

I was gathering up my old copies of ''Comic Shop News'' to sell on eBay.  I used to get these at Lion & Unicorn and they usually stamped them.  The last one stamped "1915 11th Avenue South" is #163 (August 9, 1990).  The first one stamped "2012 Magnolia Avenue/Pickwick Place" is #170 (September 26, 1990).  So they must have moved sometime in between those two dates.  I should mention that I only have one issue between those, #164, which is not stamped at all (and might possibly have come from a shop in Huntsville).  --[[User:Lkseitz|Lkseitz]] 21:06, 14 April 2008 (PDT)

--Lkseitz 23:08, 13 July 2006 (PDT)

Pickwick Place move

I was gathering up my old copies of Comic Shop News to sell on eBay. --Lkseitz 21:06, 14 April 2008 (PDT)
