It made sense to me to have an article for "Mayor of suchandsuch" when it is really an article.  A list should just be a list with links to the articles.  While having articles for each mayor makes sense, talking about the history of the city sounded like a good article to me as well. Hodnett

The indications are that Hodnett became Hoover's elected mayor in 1976 after finishing Braddock's term, but I'm not 100% certain of that. --Lkseitz 11:58, 6 February 2007 (PST)
