First airing in June 2002, "Radio Tech Talk" kicked off the with hosts Chase Thompson and Sam Knowles on WYDE Talk AM 850. WYDE would become 101.1 FM "The Source" and "Radio Tech Talk" became "Tech Talk with Chase and Sam" on Saturday afternoons with a broad listener-ship.

Tech Talk now airs every Saturday from 11AM to Noon on WAPI 1070, "Alabama's Big Talker."

ChaseAndSam.com has been the show's official website since its first air, and it continues to be a staple of the current broadcast.
