Thomas Wesley Sewell (born April 16, 1906 in Titus; died July 30, 1956 in Montgomery) was a professional baseball player who played one game for the Chicago Cubs. Born in rural Elmore County, he graduated from the University of Alabama. Sewell had two brothers who also played major league ball: Hall of Famer Joe Sewell, and Luke, who played several seasons (1921-1939 and 1942) and also was a manager in the major leagues.
