Una S. Battles is the former headmistress of Advent Episcopal Day School.
Battles joined the school as a temporary administrator in February 1969 and was encouraged by then-rector Hugh Agricola to remain on staff as headmistress. She retired in 2013 and was succeeded by Palmer Kennedy.
An Una and Craig Battles Fund, named in honor of her and her husband, supports school curriculum.
