Jared Johnson was born in 1987 at Cooper Green Hospital. He grew up in the Germainia Park neighborhood wedged between Powderly and West End. His grandfather was a deputy in the Jefferson County Jail at Bessemer. Jared now lives by himself in his old family home, and hopes one day to become a FF/EMT with the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service Department.
