The Vulkan Record Company was a record label owned by Patrick Cather in 1963. The company was originally called "Vulcan" for the Vulcan statue, but the spelling was changed before the second release due to a potential trademark conflict with the former Vulcan Record Co.. Vulkan was the parent of the Soul-O label.
Artists who recorded for Vulkan included Mark Ingramm and Robert McCoy & His Five Sins. Live recordings were made at the Famous Club.
