The West Side Masjidr is a 13,000 square-foot mosque or masjid affiliated with the Birmingham Islamic Society and located on Gary Avenue in Fairfield. The center serves mainly as a location for prayers and youth activities, serving primarily West Africans who live in the Birmingham area. Ibrahima Diallo serves as imam.

The masjid took a one year lease on its store-front location, but expects to expand to a larger space when the lease term ends.
