Wickywood or Wicki was the name of the Birmingham Barons mascot beginning with the 1981 season. The name is an apparent corruption of "Rickwood", for Rickwood Field.
The hot pink, furry snout-nosed character, somewhat reminiscent of the Phillie Phanatic, wore a Barons team jersey and cap with black leggings, white gloves and padded vinyl-covered red and white clown shoes.
Wicki was replaced by Babe Ruff for the 2002 season.
