Willie Florence, Sr (born c. 1954) is an attorney and candidate for Birmingham City Council District 7 in the 2009 Birmingham City Council election.
Florence has a bachelor's degree from Miles College, a law degree from the Birmingham School of Law and a master's of ministry from Birmingham Theological Seminary. He is a former judge pro tem in Birmingham Municipal Court and the owner of Dollars World Furniture Mart and the Firm of Compassion, P.C. law firm.
As a City Council candidate he is running on a platform of community safety, school improvements and support for residents and businesses.
In August 2009 Florence married Antonia King at New Hope Baptist Church.
