Accent II was a male African lion donated to the Birmingham Zoo by the Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based manufacturer of Accent brand monosodium glutamate seasoning. She was exhibited along with the mating pair Leo and Queenie and their four cubs; Rip, Roar, Rough, and Tumble.

When Accent matured, he was mated with the female, Tumble, and produced several cubs, seven of which were traded to other zoos in return for fallow deer and tropical birds. He was known for his loud roaring after the park closed each night.
