Century Coins & Stamps

Century Coins & Stamps was a retail store owned by Tom Avery located in Century Plaza that specialized in buying and selling coins and stamps. Tom and his wife operated the store from the center opening until approximately 1984. The shop was known for great service in the area of coins, stamps, gold and trading cards. Tom Avery was regarded fondly by most that knew him as an honest and helpful coin dealer. The shop was small but always busy. Tom leased the space in Century Plaza after being a coin dealer for years at local shows and markets.
