Douglas Pierre Baulos (born in Springfield, Illinois) is an assistant professor of drawing and bookmaking at the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Department of Art & Art History. He received his bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at UAB in 1990 and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans in 1993.

Baulos often teaches workshops and lectures on his research in book arts, drawing and mixed media. In 2009 he received the "President's Award For Excellence In Teaching" at UAB.
